When I started this blog, my goal was to share my impressions and the feelings evoked from enjoying wine. This small joy led me to rediscover my favorite piece from the youth, thanks to Chanterêves’ Marsannay Rosé.

October and November have slipped away, and I find myself belatedly sharing my wine journey for October. As tradition dictates, I've highlighted the truly memorable experiences in bold.

Despite feeling the wine hadn’t fully unveiled itself on the first day, I restrained myself from sipping it all night. On the second day, the wine blossomed, showcasing more of its secondary and tertiary characters, with prominent clove, vanilla, and newfound leather notes.

It’s almost the end of October, and I’m still catching up with my September wine roundup list. I unexpectedly became swamped with work and travel, making it challenging to put together the list. Looking back, September was a fascinating month.

All the wines featured that evening had truly beautiful and captivating labels ( … ) The moment I saw them, I knew that each wine would share its own unique story. I was eager to embark on new wine journeys.

( … ) but as someone who genuinely enjoys both, I am always inclined to open a bottle for any occasion—whether it is as simple as “I want bubbles” or “I'm having pizza for dinner.”

The 2021 Le Puy de l’Ours ‘Clos des Godeaux’ truly embodies purity, freshness, terroir, and, most importantly, unlimited potential. ( … ) Can you believe that this is the very first vintage from the winemakers?

August was an interesting month. ( … ) I failed to track everything I tried in the month of August, so I only listed the ones I found memorable and could remember.

The anticipation finally gave way, and the wine flowed into our awaiting glasses. A rich aroma of dark fruits and dry leaves enveloped us, an olfactory prelude to the experience ahead.

When it comes to Pétillant Naturel, it’s often seen by the general public as a trend or a hip fad that will eventually fade away, much like orange wine. Every time I encounter such views, it truly saddens me. I have a genuine appreciation for Pét Nat.

… and summer seemed like the perfect excuse to discover a delightful selection of seasonally appropriate wines.

When I first smelled and tasted this wine, I found myself imagining a scene of going up to an attic, opening a dusty chest, and flipping through an old photo album filled with pictures of grandparents in their youth.

Yes, summer wines should embody qualities like fun, entertainment, being a party-starter, and most importantly, being extra delicious.
